Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Ranchhand Auctions Ltd. (the “Website”) and your participation in any auctions conducted through the Website. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website.
1.0 – Auction Participation
1.1 – Eligibility
To participate in auctions on the Website, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. Any bids made constitute a binding agreement between the user and the auction. There will be no “retracted bids” – If you bid, you bid. Avoid letting children “play” on the auction. Avoid leaving your computer in a place that “a cat may walk across the keyboard”.1.2 – Registration
In order to bid on or sell horses through the Website, you must create an account and provide accurate and complete information. All registrations must be completed by phone, although requests for enrollment may be made using the contact form.1.3 – Bidding
All bids placed on the Website are binding contracts and cannot be retracted. The highest bidder at the close of the auction will be deemed the winner.1.4 – Seller Obligations
Sellers are responsible for accurately describing their horses and disclosing any known defects or issues. We will do our best to ask the questions needed to accurately gather information about a horse but as with any auction, there is a level of buyer beware.
2.0 – Transactions
2.1 – Payment
Winning bidders are required to pay the full amount of their winning bid plus any applicable fees within the specified 24 hour timeframe.2.2 – Title and Risk
Title to the horse(s) sold in the auction will transfer to the winning bidder upon payment in full. All risk of loss or injury to the horse(s) passes to the winning bidder upon transfer of title.2.3 – Dispute Resolution
In the event of any disputes arising from auction transactions, Ranchhand Auctions Ltd. reserves the right to mediate and facilitate resolution between the parties involved but holds no liability.
3.0 – Liability
3.1 – Limitation of Liability
RanchHand Auctions Ltd. is not responsible for the accuracy of listings, the behavior or condition of horses, or any disputes between buyers and sellers. Users participate in auctions at their own risk.3.2 – Indemnification
By using the Website, you agree to indemnify and hold RanchHand Auctions Ltd., its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Website or participation in auctions.

5.0 – Miscellaneous
5.1 – Modification
RanchHand Auctions Ltd. reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of any changes to the Terms.5.2 – Governing Law
